Music @ The Local
Irish Traditional Music is Donnchadh’s forté, as he plays both the uileann pipes and bodhrán. Donnchadh has been playing music since the age of 10 and has toured the world with the band Danú, as one of their founding members.
Hence, traditional music is certainly at the fore at The Local.

Winter Season Concerts
In the winter we host a concert series, and in the past we have had the pleasure of welcoming some of the most famous names in folk and traditional circles to our venue.
Generally, these concerts are ticketed and afford the audience a rare opportunity to see the artist perform in an intimate venue.
We also hold regular weeky gigs and music sessions, and The Local has become known far and wide as the home of traditional music in the county.
